The Thermals’ new album, Personal Life, dropped today. I’ve been listening to it non-stop since it debuted on NPR (2 weeks ago? I think? Time has blurred a bit).

My one sentence review:
I think there’s a new contender for best album of the year.

Unrelated side-note: Ping is stupid.

Hope you liked this week’s batch of Pilgrim stoof. I sure did!!

Sidenote: Totally saw the movie this afternoon. Very likely I’ll be seeing it again tomorrow or sometime soon. It was, in a lot of words compressed to one, amazing. I would recommend it to anyone whose ever owned a Nintendo (surprisingly enough there were a fair amount of OLD-OLD people in the theater. Was tempted to pick one of their brains, I can’t even imagine what they thought, haha.)

Stephen Still’d

So, prior to book 6, I’ll admit, I was a Knives/Stephen Stills shipper. Not in like a, ‘oh my gosh they’re destined to be’ or whatever, but just as like, a thing, I guess? Mostly because after Scott being such a tool to Knives having a thing with Stephen would sorta been like, not all guys are like that? But then book 6 happened and the outcome was sooooo much better than that for everyone. It was awesome. But anyway…
